A leader in Baton Rouge real estate since 1977, Paul R. Burns is the owner/broker of Burns & Co. Inc./Realtors. Burns & Co continues to provide innovation to buyers, sellers and agents to adapt to the ever changing area market. He holds the GRI, CRB and ABR designations, and has served as the President of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors and the Commercial-Investment Division of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors. He has also served as a Regional Vice President of Louisiana Realtors and a Director for the National Association of Realtors. Commissioner Burns was appointed by Governor Bobby Jindal to serve a 6-year term on the Louisiana Real Estate Commission.

Commissioner Burns sets the company pace for community involvement by his tremendous involvement in local civic/charitable organizations. Each company agent is encouraged to be socially mindful by giving back to the community by involvement. Burns & Co. annually coordinates "Art for Food." This overwhelmingly successful event attracts over 500 attendees. While primarily designed to raise funds for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank's Summer Children's Program, the event also encourages art appreciation and offers "art for every budget."
