Cynthia Stafford is broker-owner of Eastbank Realty, a full service real estate brokerage since 1974. In 1990, she was also licensed as a state certified residential appraiser. Commissioner Stafford has been an active Realtor for over 37 years and served as president of the Greater Baton Rouge Board of Realtors in 2006. She was first appointed to the Commission in 2005 to complete the term of the Fifth Supreme Court representative. In 2009, she was appointed to a full term and was elected chairman of the Louisiana Real Estate Commission.

Commissioner Stafford is very active in her community and is presently serving in the following capacities:

Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce board member
Chairperson of the East Ascension Hospital Service District
St. Elizabeth's Hospital Advisory Board member

She has also served as a past board member on the Regional American Red Cross Board. Commissioner Stafford is married to Louis Stafford, and they have two children and four grandchildren.
